Legend

I like the word LEGEND.

Its manly, its bold, its uplifting and esteeming.

I have men in my world that have impacted my life and deserve approbation.

And the cool thing about having a blog that’s you’re own is that you can wax lyrically as much as you like about stuff that means something to you.

I want to acknowledge a few of these blokes:

  • Phil Pringle
  • Dean Rush
  • Max Legg
  • Ferg McIntyre
  • Graham Morcom
  • Mark Saundercock

They are all pretty much the backbone and foundation of C3 Cooks Beach and Whitianga.

These are men of calibre, Calibre is another cool word.

It means quality, distinction, stature, excellence, capability, proficiency.

More great words.

It also means the internal diameter of a gun. I also love guns.

But the word LEGEND is more mythical or unsubstantiated.
So the guys above are not legends.
They are HEROES. Oh you are probably thinking that a hero is a person who saves damsels in distress or take a bullet for a President or something. But a hero is a person who is admired for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.

Yip. That fits perfect.

I salute and acknowledge you guys. Gods great men of faith.

Jayesh Kesry is also a hero for all he does too. He puts all this stuff together along with a plethora of chores for C3 NZ. He’s just a lot quieter than the other guys. Especially Saundercock eh Jay?

    One Response to Legend

    1. Max Legg says:

I’m thrilled to be among such great men in your great hero list, only, I do not want to join the Ponsonby hero parade.
