Deuteronomy 20:4

To all those out there fighting for the gospel, helping the poor, lifting up the broken hearted, fighting for justice for the down trodden, speaking out the truth of Gods word and promises, preaching the good news, praying for their towns, healing the sick, loving one another. Well done.
May the Lord bless you abundantly, continue providing for you, hear you, honour you, stretch you, encourage you, lead you and empower you to greater and greater things.
Proverbs 10:4 says Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth (an abundance)
To all those out there sitting back and watching, sitting on their hands or pulling down those that are doing this scripture from Hebrews is for you We do not want you to become lazy, but for you to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
I went to a funeral today for a woman that died far too young. She worked tirelessly for her 4 boys and the chap that took the service spoke so beautifully about her and about what she achieved. Some in town would have called her useless but God saw her so much differently. I did too, as did many others in our church. I said to myself that I want hundreds and hundreds at my funeral and hope them to say nice words too about how I brought the light of Christ into their lives. I don’t say this out of any kind of pride but out of sincerity and a desire for everything else in my life (apart from my family) to be meaningless in comparison.
Joshua’s friend and fellow spy, Caleb son of Jephunneh, was still strong, still slaying giants and still bold at 85!
Caleb means “dog”.
He wasn’t much of a man to look at apparently.
So don’t you dare say you’re not big enough, clever enough, strong enough or good enough.
As Caleb will tell you – Its not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog.
