Hebrews 12:1
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses,
let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.
And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us

Surrounded by witnesses? Absolutely. There are over 6 billion people
around the world watching, observing, commenting, re-acting, living,
dying, breathing and choosing – television, media, the World Wide Web.

Come on. There are 958,000,000 Facebook users!!

What you do, be it little or great will have an impact.

Maximus said in Gladiator “What we do in life echoes into eternity”
I love that movie and I love that line!

We have a race all marked out for us and the only way we will complete
this race is to actually put one foot in front of the other and DO SOMETHING!

And the the only way we can do this well is to ENDURE.
A marathon starts with shedding a few pounds and walking round the block.

John Calvin said back in the 16th century that
“It is better to limp along the right path, than run along the wrong.”

Find that right path by seeking God with an honest, sincere heart.
Don’t tell God your plans. Find his.

Shed the stuff in your life that weighs you down.
Throw off the things that hinder you.
Get rid of the sin that so easily entangles you.
Get rid of it.
Get rid of it right now. Even as you read this.

The world is watching you 24/7 and as Abraham Lincoln so rightly said
“you can fool some people all the time,
and all of the people some of the time,
but you cannot fool all of the people all the time”

If you are going to be a witness. Be an honest one.
Run a good honest race.
And if you are going to make an impact. Make it an awesome one!
